ABOUT OUR CAMP
Spro Skills Hockey is built to challenge and inspire young players through a high-energy, competitive, and skills-focused environment. Each day includes two on-ice sessions and one dryland training session, giving athletes the opportunity to improve in all areas of the game.
On the ice, players rotate through skill-specific stations that focus on the fundamentals — stickhandling, passing, shooting, and positional play. A major emphasis is placed on power skating, where players work on speed, edge control, balance, and stride efficiency. With our station-based approach, players receive maximum puck touches, constant movement, and individual feedback from experienced coaches.
Off the ice, our dryland sessions are designed to enhance overall athleticism. Players train in areas such as agility, coordination, core strength, and balance — all critical components that support success on the ice.
To keep the energy high and the players engaged, we introduce a week-long competition where campers are split into Team Purple and Team White. These teams compete in daily small-area games and skill challenges that test quick thinking, creativity, and teamwork. Whether it’s 3-on-3 battles, mini tournaments, or head-to-head drills, these competitive games bring out the best in every player.
We believe that competition is the key to development. It motivates players to push themselves, encourages accountability, and builds confidence in game situations. By creating a fun yet challenging atmosphere, players leave camp better prepared — physically and mentally — for their next season.
Whether you're looking to fine-tune your game or take your skills to the next level, this camp is designed to deliver results, build character, and ignite a lifelong passion for hockey.
